I am still on the lookout for a good wireless set though that will work up to 6 feet or more from the trasmitter. At the moment I am using a wired keyboard and mouse that cost under a fiver each and both are easier to use. Even on Amazon at a reduced price, this can't be classified as a cheap option. I deliberately chose Microsft as their products that I have had in the past have been good (although not had wireless from them before) and I wanted compatability with Windows 7.
I only used this keyboard for a day before sending back, and when I got it close enough to work, found many times hitting the '\' key instead of the shift key - it is a major desing flaw even if the set worked at any reasonalbe range.
I wish I had.įor the people giving this set a glowing reference then I can only expect they have the receiver within about 12 inches of the keyboard and mouse as any further than this and like many of the other reviews have said the keyboard just drops characters.Īlso I cannot believe that the other positive reviewers don't have the problem with the tiny left shift key. I don't usually write many reviews but for anyone thinking of buying this product you need to read the other less positive reviews on this site as well.
